KSU Ranked 14 in Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Poll

Kennesaw, GA – The Kennesaw State Owls will come into the 2013 season with a rank of #14 in the Lacrosse Magazine MCLA DII Poll. Elon, SCAD, and Liberty join the Owls as the only SELC representatives in the Top 20.

The #14 designation is the highest preseason rank that the Owls have ever been named.

After a disappointing 8-5 campaign in 2012, which featured the team's second appearance in the SELC Championship game in three years, this year's squad welcomes the expectations of being the 14th ranked team in the nation.

Senior defenseman Tom Mudrak noted, "We made significant strides last year, beating a Top 10 team and winning the division again but we still ended up short of our goal of winning the conference title and that doesn't sit well with anyone."

The Owls will face two ranked teams this spring with #16 Coast Guard Academy and #17 Missouri Baptist University making the preseason list.
