SELC Announces Dll Seedings

Division ll Director Michael Cummings and Tournament Director Doug Horn have finalized the 2010 Championship pairings for Dll. The Division l pairings will be announce on April 19th.

The #1 seed is Savannah College of Art and Design, winner of the South Region. Second seed is Elon College winner of the North Region. The 3rd seed is the Central Region winner Tennessee Weslyan College. The top two seeds receive a first round bye into Saturday’s semi finals.

Fourth seed is the Central Region regular season runner up Kennesaw State University. Fifth seed is University of North Florida from the South Region and the 6th seed is Appalachian State University from the North Region.

Seedings are based on region winners get seeds #1-3 and then remaining seeds are the result of head to head competition and goals allowed against common opponents.
All Dll games will be played at Northview High School in Johns Creek, GA. Friday nights first matchup will have #3 Tennessee Wesleyan versus Appalachian State at 5:30. The 8:00 game will have #4 KSU against North Florida.

Saturday at noon #2 seed Elon will play the winner of the TN Wesleyan vs. App. State winner. At 2:45 the #1 seed SCAD will take on the winner of the #4 vs. #5 contest between KSU and UNF. The Dll Championship will be played at noon on Sunday.
